The seasons are changing. In light of such, I found this pretty….
I get a little unsettled when summer moves on. I want to grasp at it longer. I feel I’m going to miss out on something. And I hate the cold (it’s a vatta thing).
As I write this I’m aware I should be a little more awake about it and go with the shift more. Summer moves on so everything can rest a little and not be so “maximum fun times”. It’s beautiful to reflect on how the earth shifts and creaks and eases it’s way through perfect changes to allow for the right kind of growth. Light and shade. Mixing up the speeds.
And so this weekend I make osso bucco in my new slow cooker to celebrate (!) the end of daylight savings and creaky shifts.
A cosy Friday to you x
